May 4 Will Be a Non-Working Day This Year; It Will Be Replaced by April 18

29.01.2026

This year, May 4 will be a non-working day. The decision was adopted at today’s session of the Government.

On May 4, Yerevan will host the 8th Summit of the European Political Community (EPC), during which the presence of approximately 50 high-level delegations at the level of heads of state or heads of institutions is expected. Taking into account the importance of the event and the unprecedented level of participation for Armenia, it has become necessary to reschedule the working day of May 4 in order to ensure the effective organization of traffic in the city of Yerevan.

It is proposed to transfer the working day of May 4, 2026, to Saturday, April 18, 2026.
