A survey among 188 Armenian Companies has been carried out in September - December 2018 in the framework of the "Promotion of Corruption and Reforms. Armenia "project, which is implemented by the" International Private Enterprise Center "NGO," Armenian Association of Lawyers "NGO," Corporate Governance Center "NGO and Yerevan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the financial support of the National Endowment for Democracy. 

Organizations have responded to the question “Whose responsibility is the control for application of the rules of corporate conduct?”

Almost half of the respondents did not answer the question. Two groups which were 15%of the respondents each mentioned the immediate manger and the director as responsible persons. Taking into account that the vast majority of respondents are SMEs, it is worth mentioning that the responsibilities of the immediate supervisor and director are may be combined.

This also proves that cases of violations of the rules of corporate conduct according to 32 % of the respondents are revealed through informing the immediate manager. And according tp 18% of the respondents one of the measure that are undertaken related to cases of violations, is the private talk with the immediate manager.
