Do Business Organizations have Rules of Corporate Conduct?
188 Armenian organizations were involved in the survey.
It was carried out in September-December, 2018, within in the scope of the “The Role of Business in Combating Corruption: Armenian Reality” survey.
Only 34% of companies, which participated in the survey, noted the presence of the Rules of Corporate Conduct.
To the question as “whether the Rules of Corporate Conduct contain zero tolerance towards corruption, 32% of the companies that have adopted the Rules of Corporate Conduct have provided a positive answer, 20% answered negatively, and 48% did not answer the question.
Notably, the survey has been carried out in the scope of the “Armenia: Promoting Anti-Corruption Conduct and Reforms”, which is implemented by the “Center for International Private Enterprise” (CIPE), the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO (ALA), the “Corporate Governance Center” (CGC), and the “Yerevan Chamber of Commerce and Industry” (YerCCI), with financial support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
