The BizProtect website continues to receive alerts about the restrictions imposed by the decisions of the RA Commandant on the state of emergency declared due to the new coronavirus Covid-19.
On 24 March, 2020, the RA Commandant/Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan adopted Resolution No. 14, which imposed temporary restrictions on different types of economic activity in the entire territory of the Republic of Armenia, due to the legal regime of the state of emergency. These restrictions were later supplemented by other desisions.
On 02.04.2020, the following report was received through the Bizpardzag website:
"The type of activity I conduct is a fast food point. I have five registered employees. I have stopped working since 24 March, according to Commandant's decision, without dismissing the employees, whom I have to pay for forced idleness. However, during these days there are fast food points and some grocery stores operating in my neighborhood that are also involved in preparing and sale of fast food in non-sanitary conditions."
In relation of this report, the expert team of the BizProtect studied the table envisaged by the decision N 27 of the RA Commandant on temporary restrictions on the types of economic activity applied in the whole territory of the Republic of Armenia and as a result, it was found that the operation of fast food point or the sale of fast food was not allowed by this decision. After ascertaining the accuracy of the alert, a note was sent to the RA Commandant Tigran Avinyan.
