The BizProtect website received an alert against Lusine Vardanyan, the Director of "Meghri Regional Medical Center" CJSC informing that the latter is violating the labor rights of an employee and asking for the protection. The content of the report is as follows:
“I am a witness in the criminal case against Lusine Vardanyan, the director of "Meghri RMC" CJSC. She is trying to harm me by not extending my employment contract. I received a notice about that.”
The whistleblower is Satik Avetisyan, a nurse at "Meghri RMC" CJSC.
Notably, this case is being investigated by the Syunik Regional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee. According to the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee, an investigation is underway to find out the circumstances of the abuses committed by the director of the medical institution. During the preparation of the materials, it was found out that the director of the company, using her official position, for the mercenary purposes, by inserting obviously false information in official documents, compiled false documents in the period of 1 January, 2017 to December 2019 committed embezzlement of property entrusted to her in significant amount. Based on the obtained sufficient evidence, the Director of "Meghri RMC" CJSC was charged under Article 308, Part 1, Article 314, Part 1, Article 179, Part 2, Clauses 1 and 3, and Article 179, Part 2, Clause 1. Signature not to leave was chosen as measure of restraint against her.
As for the report made by Satik Avetisyan, the nurse of "Meghri RMC" CJSC, the expert team of BizProtect platform, studying the facts presented by the nurse, provided the whistleblower with consultation on the judicial protection of labor rights.
