On 12 June, BizProtect received an anonymous notification from the employee, according to which the employer increased the working hours, but does not provide a bonus, and the employees who expressed their disagreement were offered to resign.
In employee wrote in the letter:
"The employees of" SCARLET "LLC located at 90/8a Araratyan Street (in front of the military base) in Yerevan were offered to leave after disagreeing with the illegal increase of working hours ... During the days of the revolution, as well as after that, the work started at 9 o’clock in the morning and finished at 6 in the evening.
However, for about a month now, taking advantage of the desperate situation of the employees and the atmosphere of impunity, the work starts at 8.30-8.40 in the morning and ends at 19.15 in the evening. Then the employees are transported by the bus belonging to the company.
Despite the increase in working time, the break lasts 30 minutes. Please resolve the issue and restore the implementation of the rights of employees stipulated by the relevant article in the “Labor Code”.
