The First Meeting of the SRC Digitalization Council Has Taken Place

Recently, under the chairmanship of Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), the inaugural meeting of the SRC Digitalization Council was held.

At the opening of the meeting, SRC Chairman Eduard Hakobyan congratulated the participants on the establishment of the Council, emphasizing the important role of such a format in the digitalization process, particularly in identifying sectoral priorities, coordinating activities, and ensuring more targeted and effective work throughout 2026.

“The necessity of holding a meeting of the Digitalization Council is обусловed by the summarization of the work carried out over the past year in the field of digitalization within the tax and customs systems. In line with the requirements of the time, the field of digitalization currently has key importance, which implies the need for consistent and focused attention to the sector,” the SRC Chairman noted.

During the meeting, current ongoing programs and projects were discussed, with emphasis placed on the need to ensure their continuity. Digitalization specialists also presented projects under development, identifying existing challenges, clarifying implementation timelines, and outlining the necessary steps for the full implementation of the initiatives.

The meeting also addressed projects planned for future implementation and the main directions for the development of the sector.

A decision was made to hold meetings of the SRC Digitalization Council in this format on a quarterly basis.
